Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with internal business partners to ensure they manage expenditures consistent with the aim of satisfying the overall business strategy.

Discern financial and operational issues while implementing and monitoring solutions

Direct, develop and communicate the business strategic plan and annual budget  including providing strategic analysis and procedures.

Provide unbiased, data-driven analyses for operating, investment, capital allocation, and other business decisions to drive performance improvement.

Ensure proper internal controls, reporting of financial results, governance compliance and remediation of any identified issues.

Ensure that site is Grip compliance and all financial controlling and accounting activities are actioned properly and on time

Provide in depth analysis of manufacturing operations and financial reporting

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of standard cost and inventory

Drive improvement through use of key performance indicators.

Develop the management information required to respond effectively to business demands.

Ensure adequate resourcing, management, development and support of the Controlling function and the accounting team on financial, budgeting and reporting issues

Ensure that company reports are analyzed and discussed with the local management team to identify key factors, and that appropriate key performance indicators are implemented

Provide strategic analysis to stimulate strategic actions.

Work closely with internal business partners to ensure they keep costs to a minimum, consistent with the aim of satisfying the overall business strategy.

Build a high performing team.

Develop challenging performance targets

Hold people accountable for performance and break down barriers to effective execution

Build external customer relationships and cross business partnerships

Demonstrate expertise in finance and accounting

Provide value adding analysis – the right information at the right time to support decision making

Create the appropriate control environment, standardizing processes and ensuring information systems deliver accounting integrity

Responsible for communication and enforcement of Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality policies and procedures

Detailed Description

Qualifications:

 

BS/BA in Accounting or Finance

Excellent organizational and prioritizational skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent communication skills

Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of MS Excel and SAP

Desirable:

CMA/ACA/CPA or MBA/MSF

Specific Functional Competencies, Knowledge and Skills Required:

Include details of how these can be assessed during recruitment e.g. certification check, interview, selection test, etc.

Significant working experience in the accounting environment of an international industrial organization.
Significant working experience of ERP systems in a business environment.
Experience of building and developing a strong finance team.
Experience of developing accounting and financial systems and processes. 
Where applicable, experience in a manufacturing and/or government-contracting environment.
High integrity.
Strong communication & interpersonal skills, with ability to work well with others, focus on long-term goals and provide leadership to support staff.
Self motivated.
Must be capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to work at detail and macro level.
Ability to conduct business in the English language.

 

10%-20% travel.
