What’s the role about?

The Procurement: Quality Compliance Specialist will report directly to the Procurement Transformation Manager. The role is responsible for all data collection and analysis in order to ensuring that all Procurement Process are performed in accordance with the GKN standards & policies. In the role, you'll work at the heart of Global Procurement. We will look to you to identify potential areas for improvement linked to the core capabilities and our “way of work”. Our team’s ability to identify and leverage both internal and external capabilities to fuel the transformation journey will be a source of competitive advantage for GKN.

Detailed Description

What you'll do?

  • Creation of Dashboards and Analytical Reports for Global Procurement and Finance stakeholders.
  • Daily tasks include analytical support with functional and business insights. Perform data collection and analysis of internal metrics as vendor spending using historical data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Be responsible for creating new ways of working and process improvements
  • Be responsible for audit all of Procurement process compliance and new opportunities for process improvement
  • Immerse yourself in data, finding opportunities to improve our current and future KPIs.
  • Deliver insight on performance and opportunities to our stakeholders throughout the business.
  • Support standardization of Procurement processes and continuous improvement training materials.
  • Develop and control Transformation and continuous improvement activities along the Procurement process
  • Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process to support project delivery and identify bottlenecks for constant improvement opportunities
  • Drive Reporting & Analytics into the direction of Business Analytics and further digitalization and automation in this area.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the manager

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in Procurement, Project Management
  • Advanced analytic skills
  • Able to work independently with strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, evaluate data, and make recommendations based on data and market trends
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills - able to manage multiple tasks
  • The ability to manage a complex group of stakeholders with different or conflicting needs.
  • Able to influence, train, present to stakeholders at all levels
  • Operated in complex environment with the same size and scale
  • Experience from working in a similar industry
  • A proactive, positive, and diligent approach to problem-solving.
  • Fully proficient with Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Language skills: fluent in English
