Job Summary

Job Description

Key Responsibility:

Applying

Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Maintain productivity, quality, housekeeping, attendance and safety standards.
Perform daily metlab duties per schedule and assist advanced/senior personnel
Clean and maintain cut-off-saw, lab equipment and lab accessories.
Cut, mount, grind and polish lab samples as required
Identify heat treat process by microstructural examination with use of microscope.
Perform preventative maintenance on inspection equipment.
Approve steel certifications per GKN or customer specifications.
Identify all microstructures in materials commonly used by GKN before and after heat treatment.
Prepare PPAP samples and compare results with customer specifications.
Use SAP to confirm lots that are accepted and to create requisitions.
Perform basic Millipore cleanliness analysis on requested components
Work as a team member to ensure production quality
Responsible for communicating when there is an issue affecting the Environment, Health, Safety or Quality to his / her respective Manager.

Detailed Description

Qualification and Skills:

Essential: High School Diploma

Two years experience in gear manufacturing or related process
