Job Summary

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Identify opportunities to reduce direct and indirect labor, materials and overhead cost
Work on various warehouse projects to identify areas where productivity and efficiency are lacking
AutoCAD knowledge (or comparable tool)
Satisfactory completion of IE courses (Facilities Design, Operations Research, Work Design)
Conduct time studies and analyze data
Develop Visual Work Instructions to capture knowledge from Operators
Review/validate current work instructions
Create and present results to supervisor and management as required
Support Lean Six Sigma projects and drive improvements at our facilities (Clinton, MA and Devens, MA) focused on material and information flow
Compiling and analyzing data associated with LSS projects

We are looking for an undergraduate student who is majoring in Industrial Engineering or a similar field.
