The Role:

We are currently looking for a member of the Central Functions HR Business Partnering Team, which provide HR business partnering to the functions of HR, Finance, Procurement, Commercial, Communications, Sustainability, IT, and Legal. This role if a true business partner role in which the successful candidate will work with members of the Automotive Executive team  and their direct reports via coaching and expert advisory support on our inspired talent agenda covering processes such as Talent Management, Engagement and Talent Attraction.

This is a truly global role and we are open to receiving applications from candidates across various locations. This role can be based in Lohmar (Germany), Olesnica (Poland), Birmingham (UK) or Porto (Portugal). 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Advise on HR policy and assists with implementation of HR procedures and processes. Works directly with the organization's leadership to develop and direct an HR agenda that closely supports the organizational goals.
  • Develop procedures and interprets and applies policy for area of expertise to achieve specified outputs, or advise the wider business on application of policy, then monitor implementation of those procedures within the organization.
  • Contribute to the drafting of Human Resources frameworks and tools for recruitment, performance management, development, career and succession planning, compensation and benefits, diversity, employee on- and offboarding, and retention of talent, within an area of expertise, ensuring compliance with specified design principles, internal policies, and external legal requirements. Enable the attraction, development, and retention of talent at a sustainable cost.
  • Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions.
  • Investigate complex hypotheses, using a wide range of HR data to diagnose underlying causes of key business issues and identify opportunities to enhance employee engagement and/or improve business performance.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of Employee Relations cases, taking personal responsibility for unique, complex and/or highly confidential cases that require deep investigation.
  • Contribute to the development and testing of HR data collection forms or questionnaires in area of expertise to ensure the collection of relevant data in line with defined requirements.
  • Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging external regulation and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
  • Manage relationships with internal clients and act as a business partner to them, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust, and managing the deployment of appropriate internal and/or external resources to support in delivering business strategy and plans.

 

Who you’ll be:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
  • Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers (Over 3 years to 6 years)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of laws, regulations and policies in area of expertise.
  • Ability to work independently and provide guidance and training to others on analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.
  • Capable to guide and train others on making sure that the organization manages its employee relations within a clear framework that embodies corporate values and policies, while also complying with all legal requirements.
  • Outstanding communications skills and ability to build long lasting relationships with senior stakeholders. 

 

Language Skills:

Fluency in English is a must. Knowledge of additional language will be an advantage.
