What's the role about? 

The role and responsibility of the Programme Procurement Leader (PPL) is to coordinate ALL Procurement activities related to New Programme, guaranteeing the implementation of the Commodity sourcing strategies, and the achievement of Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) targets to secure flawless launch execution.

Detailed Description

What will you do?           

•             Center point of contact/interface between the Business Unit Programme team and the Procurement function for all direct material & Capex requirements for New Programme, from acquisition phase to start of production.

•             Responsible for Bill Of Material (BOM) costing for NBAQ/S phases. Analyze & optimize BOM through material/design standardization and make vs. buy opportunities. Provide & validate the purchased parts/products cost estimate and sourcing assumptions, with the support of the Regional Commodity Buyers (RCB) and Supplier Quality (SQ) before the quote is being sent to the Customer.

•             Support regional VaVe workshops in NBAQ/S phases. Engage in internal workshops to drive identification & implementation of material cost reduction ideas to support Programme profitability improvement (ROS), achievement of the cost model and market growth.

•             Facilitator of Procurement early involvement in business acquisition (customer quoting process) and product development by promoting the selection of high performing, quality capable, and execution focused suppliers.

•             Coordinate BOM sourcing and APQP. Ensure the control of Quality, Costs and Delivery (QCD) requirements in accordance with the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). Coordinate for each new Programme the required activities of the different Regional Commodity Buyers (RCB) and Supplier Quality (SQ) resources.

•             Provide relevant information to the Commodity organization to support commodity strategy creation, validation, implementation and updates.

•             Develop counter-measures for any Red Programme, implement corrective actions, escalate critical issues and develop cost improvement initiatives to improve Programme profitability.

•             Monitor and track the Procurement KPIs in Programme. Ensure regular reporting Programme KPIs in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery.

•             Hand-over to the plant (to be further elaborated -incl. Ivalua)

•             Act with integrity and full respect of business ethics. Comply with business unit and company policies, procedures and DOA requirements.

 

What are we looking for?

Essential Qualifications & Experience

•             Master/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a business or engineering discipline with specialization in international purchasing

•             Fluent in English, with an international mind set.

•             Minimum 5 years experience in Project, Procurement and multicultural teams management in a global industrial / automotive environment

•             Leader in problem solving and project approach

•             Experienced with International matrix organization.

•             Results oriented with strong written and oral communications skills at all levels

•             Proven ability of team management and leadership

•             Available to travel (up to 30% of working time) at regional level

•             Leadership and charisma

•             Negotiation skills
